There are hundreds of Brown Pelicans each day that fly overhead, dive into the water, and float on the swells just off shore. They cruise in along the beach, and their juxtepostion above the rainbow of umbrellas is almost comical. They are so prehistoric looking, graceful in their flight, while huge and awkward as they splash down for a bite to eat.
